Notice of Local Board of Appeal and Equalization
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING PROPERTY ASSESSEMENTS
This may affect your 2025 property taxes.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Board of Appeal and Equalization for HOBART Township will meet on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 9:30 AM at HOBART Town Hall. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor.
If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you disagree with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization. The board will review your assessments and may make corrections as needed. Generally, you must appeal to the local board before appealing to the county board of appeal and equalization.

Notice is hereby given that the Hobart Township 2025 Road Tour date is set for April 19th, 2025
with May 3rd as a backup date. Tour will start at 8:00 am at the Hobart Town Hall at the Hobart
Town Hall 49046 370th Avenue Frazee, MN.

Township meetings are typically held at the Hobart Town Hall on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. All meetings are open to the public. To submit an agenda item, please contact our Clerk at least one week prior to the meeting.

Fire & Rescue
The C.D.H. Vergas Fire Association (CDHVFA) was established in 1905 and serves four communities in Minnesota: the townships of Candor, Dora, and Hobart, along with the City of Vergas. Covering 84 square miles.
